Since then we have had the opportunity to visit even more spots on the island where the sunset is truly magical, with many of these coming from your suggestions.
So here are 5 more top sunset spots in Ibiza to consider, definitely places that if you get the chance to visit you should.
The sunset in Ibiza is truly spectacular and one of the island’s finest assets. It is different every evening and even when it’s a little cloudy the colours are truly incredible.
1 Golden Buddha, San Antonio
Located beside Calo des Moro in San Antonio Golden Buddha is one of the few sunset venues open all year round.
Although close to the famous sunset strip, being a little further round the coast it offers the same amazing views but offers a quieter and more relaxed environment.
It is very popular with locals and tourists alike and a great meeting place for those starting an evening out, also with the added bonus that if you wish to dip your toes in the sea you can from the small beach of Calo des Moro.
2 Hostal La Torre, Cap Negret
Located just north of San Antonio in Cap Negret Hostal La Torre is a beautiful restaurant and hotel recently acquired by the Mambo Group.
It offers uninterrupted views out across the Mediterranean sea high up on the cliffs where a relaxed welcome is assured surrounded by the true beauty of the natural Ibiza.
3 Rooftop Nine Sol House, San Antonio Bay
Only opening in 2016 Sol House in San Antonio Bay is a fantastic refurbished hotel but as a huge bonus, it has a roof terrace called Rooftop Nine which is open to everyone.
Offering nearly 360-degree views across San Antonio Bay to the town and beyond as well as inland and of course out to sea it is an ideal venue to watch the sun go down.
In peak season they have nightly Dj’s accompanying the sunset to really get you in the mood for your night out ahead.
4 Kumharas, San Antonio Bay
Located in the Cala de Bou area of San Antonio Bay Kumharas offers a very relaxed and chilled place to watch the sun go down beneath the waves.
Under one of the islands original defensive towers, you cannot help but be drawn in by the mix of cultures, tastes and smells that adorn this Indian hippy inspired location.
At sunset, all the magic comes together and it is truly a spot to experience the sunset like no other in Ibiza.
5 Parasailing at Sunset
It may not be everyone’s first choice on how to watch the sunset but floating 400 ft up in the air, just you and a mate on the wind is truly exhilarating.
Add to that the true magic and spectacle of the Ibiza sunset it is one way to create one of the ultimate Ibiza memories.
Also you will hear the cheers and clapping from those below as the sun sets but you will have it all to yourself for a moment longer due to your height truly special.
