Ibiza in August
Ibiza in August is the month, the month when the world, his wife, his children and his grandparents descend onto the island like a swarm of locusts.

My love affair with Ibiza
My love affair with Ibiza and this blog began by pure chance, about 10 years ago a dear friend of mine gave me some podcasts to listen to which included Trance Around The World as it was then by Above and Beyond and I loved it and became a fan of theirs.
A couple of years later we got the opportunity to see Above and Beyond live at Brixton Academy in London and had one of the best nights ever. We had our children young so clubbing and going to gigs had never featured in our lives but from the euphoria of that night we were desperate to see Above and Beyond again.
We looked through their tour dates and the only one which worked childcare and work wise was Amnesia in Ibiza flying out of Bournemouth on Monday and returning Friday with the gig itself on Thursday night so we booked without hesitation. Read more
Jet2 extends Ibiza season
In a bold move flight and tour operator, Jet2 extends the Ibiza late and early season flight and holiday schedule for 2018 and 2019.

Jet2 are looking to plug this gap in the market by adding more flights from several of its UK regional bases being Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle with some flights operating as late as the 4th of November (Birmingham). Read more
Ibiza in July

Alcohol on Ibiza flights
In the last few weeks, we have all seen the headlines about unruly behaviour onboard aircraft even flights being diverted so is it time to ban drinking on Ibiza flights? or because of the irresponsible few limit or ban drinking in airports all together?

Anthropology of Ibiza
With the infamous white isle being most known for her party culture, super clubs and music scene, it is quite hard to grasp the idea of there being an actual history and culture to the island.
Yet, if you look carefully as you drive around the island, you can see scattered churches, lighthouses, wells and ruins of times gone by.
If we go right back to the beginning, the first ever settlements on Ibiza can be dated back as far as 3000 years ago, with the Carthaginians discovering Ibiza in 654 B.C. Ibiza town is, in fact, one of the earliest towns to be discovered in Europe. Read more
