With this weeks surprise announcement from Super Club Space having to move its opening party back a week due to the Municipal Elections, we take a look at the wider picture and possible long term future for that part of Ibiza.

Avoid French ATC strikes with our alternative way
Although the season in Ibiza has yet to truly start, the ATC strikes which happened in France over the last few days has had an impact with several flights being cancelled from across Europe to Ibiza.

Cala Gracio could be developed.
A few weeks ago we read a report in The Ibizan about possible plans to build up to 268 dwellings on land to the north of San Antonio on an area running inland from Cala Gracio.

Ibiza Sunset from Mint Lounge
With the temperature rising and the days getting longer this weekend saw the first beach clubs and bars opening across Ibiza.
On Friday evening the weekend kicked off in style at Mint Lounge in San Antonio with the first sunset strip sunset bar opening accompanied by Jason Bye on the decks.
Rental Apartments in Ibiza
In Ibiza it was always the way that come the end of September and early October an abundance of accommodation, from large villas down to small apartments, would come up to rent for the year ahead. The rent would be fair and agreed with the landlord in advance for the whole year.
Although not a done deal this upcoming summer could see British police officers taking to the streets of San Antonio in a bid to combat antisocial behaviour and drugs.
