Should the Ibiza season be extended?
There has been a lot of talk and comments recently about the length of the current season in Ibiza and whether a concerted effort should be made to extend and expand it further.

The Language of Ibiza
Whilst the official spoken and written language in Spain is Castilian. In Ibiza the official language is Catalan with a regional dialect called Ibicenco or Eivissenc (mainly in Ibiza Town or Eivissa to give it its correct title).

Social Media in Ibiza
Many moons ago, in the distance far reaches of time, you arrived in Ibiza fresh faced and unsure of what was what, where to go and what to do.

BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza
A hotly contested issue by locals, workers and visitors alike here are my thoughts on the subject of Radio 1 sunset strip event in San Antonio.
Radio 1 celebrated 20 years of broadcasting from the white isle this year with many different events across the island. Most are being held in purpose built venues suitable for large crowds with all the facilities in place such as sufficient security, toilets, medical provisions, etc.
Too hot in Ibiza
This may sound like a strange question as many of us come to the island for the guaranteed wall to wall sunshine and the guaranteed temperatures.
In recent weeks it has truly been hot in Ibiza even by the islands standards with temperatures getting into the mid 40s on more than one occasion and as much as the “it’s a heatwave” has been replaced by people saying “its just hot” it does seem to have had an effect on businesses across the island.
