During the last week two major changes have been announced in San Antonio to help improve the town for the upcoming summer season.
In a bid to make the town more inviting and to get those visiting to explore a little more of the town, there is a plan to move the evening craft market from Passeig de ses Fonts (beside the fountains), to s’Era d’en Manyà, (the square where the Ship Inn is located).
There will still be a craft market held in the Passeig de ses Fonts on Friday afternoons throughout the summer season. Read more
This is a little known gastronomical delight, based in and around San Antonio that takes place every year during the Winter. This year the 8th edition of Pintxa runs from the 18th February until the 24th March every Thursday.
Participating restaurants and bars produce a small delicacy Pintxo a skewer or a delight on bread for €2.50 or a larger tapas for €4.50 both include a beer or wine.
So far for 2016, 34 establishments in San Antonio and 12 from the surrounding areas are taking part in what is becoming a real annual event and hard fought competition between the 46 establishments. Read more

A huge fireworks display is set to light up the skies across the harbour of San Antonio this Monday (24th August) as part of the Fiesta of Sant Bartomeu (St. Bartholomew).
The fireworks display is the main event of the three week fiesta which has been running since the 13th of August and ends on the 6th September and includes Concerts, sports tournaments, cultural activities, competitions, workshops for children, funfair and folklore displays. Read more
