One of the best loved activities in San Antonio Ocean Mania Ibiza has a new course for 2018 and it is truly spectacular.
Those that do not know what Ocean Mania is, it’s a watery wipeout style assault course full of bouncy fun, grab handles, obstacles, slides and so much more.
For 2018 the whole course has been completely redesigned and returns bigger, better with all new obstacles, longer slides and the biggest iceberg Ibiza has ever seen. Read more

The welcome on-board is perfect and being a family run business they cater their trips to their passengers on board, whether it be young groups out for a good time, couples, or family groups with children and can take up to 20 people at a time.
Kayaking in Ibiza is something we have always wanted to try, so when we got the opportunity in April we jumped at the chance to go Kayaking with Kayak Ibiza winter excursion and took to the water to see the white isle from a different perspective.
We arrived at the meeting point of Cala Codolar and joined another 15 other excited kayakers.
Our group was made up of all ages (youngest was our 13yr old, an experienced kayaker), as well as several different nationalities who had travelled from all over the island for this morning of exploring. Read more
On our recent April trip to the island, we took on Paddle Boarding with SUP Paradise Ibiza.
We have been paddle boarding a couple of times before and we love it, it is great for the whole family, easy to master the basics and is a great way to explore the island’s coastline from the sea.
Being April and before the main season Ruben our guide and instructor picked us up in his 4 x 4 from San Antonio and took us to Cala Bassa, which is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Read more
This summer will see the first wake surfing school opening in Ibiza, called Wake on Ibiza who will be based in San Antonio which is located in the south west of the island.
For those who don’t know what wake surfing is, it is a very cool watersport in which a rider trails behind a boat, riding the boat’s wake without being directly pulled by the boat.
After getting up on the wake, typically by use of a tow rope, the wake surfers will drop the rope, and ride the steep face below the wave’s peak in a fashion reminiscent of surfing. Read more
We love the water wipeout course in San Antonio bay. Ocean Mania is great fun for all the family and comes with lots of laughs and inevitably a few splashes or two.
Since its inception in 2014 they have been working hard each year to add and improve the course to make it more fun and a little more challenging.
This year is no exception and they have installed a brand new course, which includes many of the old favourite obstacles, the Iceberg of Doom, Last Push Hill and the Slide of Glory. Read more
Surf Lounge Ibiza is a great place to lose an afternoon or two taking part in the activities on offer or just sitting back and watching from the sidelines.
Situated on the beachfront in San Antonio next to Ocean Beach, it combines a relaxed open air environment with a range of activities, the most impressive of which being Ibiza’s only Flowrider.
The Flowrider is an artificial wave machine which allows you to safely learn how to bodyboard and even surf (tuition is on hand at all times) or for those who are more competent it allows them to ride the wave and show off their skills to the watching crowds. Read more
We have seen many paddle boarders around the island on our previous visits and were intrigued.
So we booked an introduction to paddle boarding with Sup Boat Ibiza. We arrived at the due time and were led onto their beautiful wooden boat based in San Antonio Marina.
We sailed out towards Cala Bassa and on the trip out we were given simple and basic beginners instructions covering the board, the paddle and how, in theory, Read more
If you ever look out over San Antonio Bay you cannot help but notice the continual parasailing. Their large parachutes little dots along the skyline. At sunset they help add to the ambiance of the view.
So what’s it like?
It’s like floating on air. We have been several times, as a family and love it. You quite literally sit at 400ft whilst getting a bird’s eye view of the bay, surrounding islands and beaches.
