Ibiza Autumn Food Festival
The Ibiza Autumn Food Festival (Ibiza Sabor) will run from the 15th October until the 30th of November and is a true celebration of the island’s gastronomic history.
40 of the islands restaurants will be offering a set menu at €20 per head (not including drinks) or tapas for €5 euros including a glass of wine or beer.
The island’s restaurants will produce a varied selection of menus and tapas that will allow guests to enjoy the flavors and textures of the island’s produce.
Products that carry a seal of quality and flavour, such as “sobrasada” – a cured sausage, lamb, honey or “flaó” a typical local cake will be on offer as well as a veritable feast which includes fish from the Mediterranean as well as the opportunity to sample the island’s wines and delicious fresh garden produce, not forgetting the all important virgin olive oil which is being pressed at this time of year.
Some of the restaurants taking part include the Atzaro Beach Restaurant at Cala Nova, Rascalobos in Sant Jordi, Es Rebost Es Can Prats in San Antonio and Gran Hotel Montesol in Ibiza town.
The festival also coincides with the pressing of this year’s olives with tasting sessions and other activities taking place around this ancient tradition which dates back to Roman times.

So while the weather is still warm, the days are more relaxed make some time to go out and enjoy a fantastic meal highlighting the best of the island’s produce this Autumn.
