Ibiza Best Short Haul Destination
At the recent Family Traveller awards ceremony in London, Ibiza picked up the winning award in the Best Short Haul Destination category.

Since our discovery of the island we have always loved it and our children have fallen in love with the place from their first visit. From the quiet secluded white sandy beaches to the hustle and bustle of Dalt Villa in the evening or child friendly activities like the Tourist Trains, Ocean Mania, boat trips etc, we have never been bored or felt we are tired of the island.
I will never forget the look in my youngest’s eyes when she first saw the sun setting from the Sunset Strip in San Antonio, the utter beauty at the view and then amazed but joining in with the clapping as the sun disappeared beneath the horizon, a memory both of us will never forget.

As adults we also have hired babysitters on the island so overnight so we can go relive our youth, dancing all night long at one of the Super Clubs, walking in bleary eyed just as the kids wake up to a day by the pool or relaxing on the beach so we can recover.
The island has a special magic for everyone, the young and the old and everyone in between. That magic is unique and personal to everyone that visits but there is something truly special about the island that no other holiday destination comes close to.

Those that are partying hard night after night throughout 2015 will all take fond memories away with them as well as a throbbing headache or but those are the people that will return in 10 years with their youngsters to enjoy a quieter part of the island and maybe escape for a night or two of partying.
The island is evolving as it has done since the dawn of time, so as much as Ibiza images maybe stuck in the late 80s and early 90s those that take the plunge and come to island today to experience its wonders and attractions fall in love with her beauty and now they have spoken in their thousands to declare that Ibiza is a Family Friendly Destination.
