Looking for ideas for our upcoming trip to Ibiza
Avid followers of our blog will know that this week see’s us returning for a few weeks of summer heaven on the white isle of Ibiza.
We love the island, its people, its places and the endless list of things to do and to say we are excited is an understatement.
We have been planning this trip since we returned from our last visit just 6 weeks ago. Yes we love Ibiza with our all.
Of course the trip will include some favourites with old friends – Chilli Pepper Charters, The Sunset Strip, Tapas Ibiza, Ocean Mania, Aguamar Water Park, Fish Ibiza, Make A Shake and of course the stunning beaches.
However, being bloggers we will also be looking for new experiences and one highlight already booked with Sup Boat Ibiza is learning how to paddle board. Apparently it is a little like wind surfing but with a paddle instead of a sail and much more stable (we hope).
I am guessing it will be more like swimming for me but sounds fun either way and the kids will love it the sea is like their second home.
We have a huge list of restaurants to try inc Relish, The Curry Club, Candy Apple, Kasbah Bay to name just a few and I am sure there will be plenty more we discover when away.
A few days out exploring has been planned to the centre and to the north of the island just to see what we can find that’s off the beaten tourist track.
Personally I want to build my confidence in the water and do some more snorkelling. I love the fact you can swim and explore what’s just under the waves of the Mediterranean so easily and in so many places around the island. You can put this bit in if you want,.
And Rosey is looking forward to trying the new Open Water swimming area. As a confident and fast swimmer she is looking forward to the benefits of a straight course in beautiful warm open water.
We are also having friends over to Ibiza for a few days to join us at Amnesia to see Above and Beyond as part of Cream Ibiza which is how we found and fell in love with the island many years ago. We are definitely looking forward to that and it also allows us to show off the island to new people.
So if you have any recommendations of where to go what to see what to do please send them over we are always up for trying new things.
