Ocean Mania Ibiza has a new course for 2018
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond Ocean Mania’s control, they will no longer be open after the 16th June 2019
One of the best loved activities in San Antonio Ocean Mania Ibiza has a new course for 2018 and it is truly spectacular.
Those that do not know what Ocean Mania is, it’s a watery wipeout style assault course full of bouncy fun, grab handles, obstacles, slides and so much more.
For 2018 the whole course has been completely redesigned and returns bigger, better with all new obstacles, longer slides and the biggest iceberg Ibiza has ever seen.
Some old favourite parts of the course are back but are improved including the catapult which is twice the size of the previous version so if you judge it just right you can launch your mates meters into the air before they come back down to earth with a serious splash.
For those of us who have sussed the old course after many times of trying its time to learn a whole new course with new ways to navigate the obstacles, new holds to learn and of course new ways to avoid heading head first into the water.
They have also improved getting onto the course with more access points out of the water, more handles to grab to haul yourself up and some new floatation mats meaning more time out of the water than ever before.
Ocean Mania is suitable for all ages as long as you can swim (you swim to get out to the course) and is ideal for families, groups and well pretty much anyone who wants to have some seriously good bouncy splashing fun.
With its new imposing course, Ocean Mania is hard to miss on the skyline but if by chance your not sure what you are looking for it is located outside of Ocean Beach Ibiza on the promenade between San Antonio and San Antonio Bay.
Just look for the huge blue, orange and white inflatables or follow the sounds of laughter, screams and splashing and you cannot miss it.
They have a small kiosk where you can grab drinks and snacks with a seating area overlooking the park for those who are happy to watch the rest of the family or their mates having the time of their lives.
Lockers to keep your possessions safe and dry are available beside the kiosk and before entering the water you will be fitted with a new 2018 life jacket and given simple instructions.
There is a lifeguard on the course at all times to help and guide you if needed.
Ocean Mania is open daily from 11 am with sessions starting on the hour, and the last session starting at 7 pm from late April until early October. The costs are €15 per person for a 45 minute session or €30 per person for a full day pass.
The day pass is ideal for kids where they can hop on and off throughout the day having as much fun as they like while the adults take it easy may be joining them for just a single session while spending the rest of the day enjoying the sun, cocktails and refreshments at the kiosk.
So get ready Ocean Mania Ibiza has a new course for 2018 and it’s up to you to conquer it or will you let it beat you?
