Cafe Mambo celebrates 25 years
It is a huge milestone in Ibiza this summer as Cafe Mambo celebrates 25 years of sunsets and parties in 2019.
Opened in 1994 by Javier Anadon, Cafe Mambo has truly become one of the iconic bars in Ibiza.
Even from its early days the vision Javier had for what was 4 small derelict houses was forward thinking to say the least.
Javier had come to the island in 1976 along with his girlfriend, now wife, and worked in several establishments in San Antonio enjoying the vibrant bars the music and the multicultural mix of Spanish, British, Dutch and Swedish people. Read more
The Old Smugglers Inn San Antonio Bay Ibiza
If you’ve visited San Antonio or San An Bay before then you’ve probably heard of a bar called The Old Smugglers Inn.
Located in Cala de Bou, The Old Smugglers Inn has recently been rented to Christin and German by the legendary owner Paul Munroe and we’re expecting great things from them.
Christin Kriwet is from Hamburg, Germany and had run her own sports company for children and German (pronounced ‘Herman’) Goncalvez is from Fray Bentos, Uruguay and has a background in Hotels. Read more

Today saw the announcement which could solve the noise issues once and for all and now everyone’s asking is silence the future of the West End Ibiza?
Over recent weeks many of you will have seen various articles that in the last year after the introduction of the zone for special acoustic protection (ZPAE) area covering the West End of Ibiza that a total of 1.7 million euros worth of fines have been issued.

One of the hottest venues on the white isle Ocean Beach Ibiza announces a new name for the venue going forward as well as some intriguing worldwide expansion plans.
In a video released across social media, the new name was announced with the following statement.

One of our favourite restaurants across the whole island have extended their menu options and now Tapas at Relish San Antonio Bay Ibiza is available.
Relish, for those that do not know is a lovely restaurant situated in the Cala de Bou area of San Antonio Bay with an outside terrace and pool for daytime relaxing and cocktails.

My love affair with Ibiza
My love affair with Ibiza and this blog began by pure chance, about 10 years ago a dear friend of mine gave me some podcasts to listen to which included Trance Around The World as it was then by Above and Beyond and I loved it and became a fan of theirs.
A couple of years later we got the opportunity to see Above and Beyond live at Brixton Academy in London and had one of the best nights ever. We had our children young so clubbing and going to gigs had never featured in our lives but from the euphoria of that night we were desperate to see Above and Beyond again.
We looked through their tour dates and the only one which worked childcare and work wise was Amnesia in Ibiza flying out of Bournemouth on Monday and returning Friday with the gig itself on Thursday night so we booked without hesitation. Read more
Kygo Ushuaia Ibiza returns for his second residency at the Play d’en Bossa outdoor club this summer.
The Norwegian super producer who is a true international star and is the fastest person to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify with his feel good tunes takes over the Sunday slot from the 15th of July until the 2nd of September.
He was joined last year by Alan Walker, Mike Perry, Cedric Gervais, Sigala, Alok, Nora En Pure, Lost Frequencies, Oliver Nelson and Sam Feldt, and we expect more of the same this year.

Kygo Ushuaia Ibiza Sundays this summer
Eric Prydz Hï Ibiza 2018 lands for a huge 12 week residency on Tuesday’s at the super club in Playa d’en Bossa this summer.
Eric Prydz is no stranger to Ibiza and was given his first artist led residency on the island last summer by Hï and he smashed it and then some.
This year Prydz returns alongside Camelphat and Cristoph in the Theatre.
The Club will be hosted by Solardo and friends across this summer on Tuesdays.
So for 10 Tuesday’s at Hï Ibiza this summer it will be some very special house and techno sounds all the way.
