Yesterday saw a historic event take place in San Antonio where a tri party coalition took over the running of the Council after the recent local elections.
The PSOE, PI and Reinicia parties have all joined forces to create the new San An council after 35 years of rule by the PP which we covered here.

As you know I love San Antonio and believe its reputation as just a rough old party town rife with drunks, drugs and crime to be unfair and outdated but.
With the upcoming municipal elections at the end of May across Ibiza, British ex pat Martin Makepeace has been asked to stand in San Antonio for the Partido Popular (Peoples Party).

A few weeks ago we read a report in The Ibizan about possible plans to build up to 268 dwellings on land to the north of San Antonio on an area running inland from Cala Gracio.
